Manual Comment: ' Grab 100 of these to earn an extra life. Don't expect to find Blue or Green Balloons out in the regular levels at all, and Red Balloons very rarely outside of Bonus Areas. The Red Balloons are more common than the other two types of Balloons, but all three are found almost exclusively within Bonus Areas, especially as prizes for completing each Bonus Area successfully. The Balloons in this game are shapped like Donkey Kong's head attached to a white string. Red balloons are worth one extra life, green are worth two, and blue will give you three.'
